The tracks arrived in 2 days from east coast to west coast. The online store was really easy to use. The old tracks were 5 years old and the new ones were so easy to install. The kids love the boat with the new tracks and wheels.
I turn 80 in a couple of weeks. We’ve lived in the FL Keys the last eight years. It was difficult to get to good rowing water so we kept the boats, two 16’ Aldens and two 24’ Win Tech Explorers bagged and hung up. A year ago we moved. AWESOME lake. While I rowed the more stable Aldens I was afraid my old body wouldn’t make it back into my 24 if/when I rolled it. Lisa spotted the “training wheels” and they are a game changer. We’ve had a couple of good rowing days last week. I feel safe and no longer worried about rolling it. I’m big and old so the idea of “ training wheels” doesn’t bother me. I’ve lived and rowed in Alaska and on Cold New England days. I’ve gotten back in the boat but these days I’m rowing my “big boat” and loving it again. Thanks WinTech for a great solution!
Good hat. Would also be nice without mirror as a regular hat in this style if it were available.
Hat is good, but mirror angle is bad. I am looking for boats not planes.
Hi Rich,
Thank you for your feedback. The mirror can be pitched in different directions, as there is a ball joint on the end of the rod where the mirror attaches. The ball joint is pretty tight, preventing the mirror from flopping around.
If you would like to discuss further, please feel free to reach out via the information below. Thanks again!
