WinTech & King Racing Shine at AYC in Sarasota
The American Youth Cup (AYC) in Sarasota, Florida saw elite junior crews from across the nation put their speed to the test, with WinTech & King Racing shells leading the charge in dominant performances across multiple events.

Men’s 8+ | Belen Jesuit Takes GOLD!
Belen Jesuit Crew claimed gold in the Men’s 8+ with a blistering time of 5:56.61, making them the only crew to break six minutes. Their speed and power in the final cemented their status as a top contender for the National Championship in June.


Women’s 8+ | Newport Aquatic Center Holds Off Winter Park
Traveling across the country for a pre-season speed test, Newport Aquatic Center (NAC) Women proved they are a force to be reckoned with. In a thrilling Grand Final, NAC held off a late sprint from three-time SRAA champions Winter Park, taking gold in 6:28.193, just one second ahead of Park. It was a battle of King Racing 8+s to the line, as both crews pushed their shells to the limit in a dramatic finish.

Women’s 2V8 | NAC Continues to Dominate

The next final saw NAC extend their dominance, winning the Women’s 2V8 by a commanding nine-second margin over OARS and Winter Park. Their depth and speed showcased the strength of their entire squad.
Women’s 4- | Gold in the WinTech Cobra

NAC took to smaller boats and continued to impress, claiming gold in the Women’s 4- in a WinTech Cobra, crossing the line eight seconds ahead of the competition.
Women’s 4+ | Double Podium for Newport in King SE

In the Women’s 4+ final, Newport entered two boats in the nine-boat field—and both landed on the podium. Newport A took gold, finishing eight seconds ahead of OARS, while Newport B edged out Space Coast by three seconds for bronze.
Unfortunately, the remainder of the regatta was canceled due to high winds, but this first showdown of the season provided a clear glimpse of the top contenders heading into the National Championships in June.
