Windermere Cup - Women of Washington

The Windermere Cup once again delivered a weekend of energy, speed, and Husky dominance on the Montlake Cut.

Festivities kicked off under the lights at the Twilight Night Sprints, where the University of Washington Huskies women's rowing set the tone early. Racing in the eye-catching “Purple King” shell, Jenni Hogan powered the Washington women to victory in the opening event, igniting the crowd and establishing momentum that would carry through the weekend.

That momentum only grew stronger on race day. In the Collegiate 3V8+, Washington delivered one of the most commanding performances of the regatta, crossing the line a full 16 seconds ahead of the competition—an emphatic statement of depth and speed within the program.

The highlight continued in the Cascade Cup, where Washington’s “Purple Entry” showcased poise and precision, holding off the field to secure the win by five seconds. It was another example of the Huskies’ ability to execute under pressure and control the race from start to finish.
